Al-Furqan will strive to provide the highest Islamic education possible to instill Islamic practice and values into each child. The main goal of the school is to provide an Islamic education in a positive environment to public school students enabling them to be well-rounded, strong contributors and role models as Muslims in our American society, and to provide children an opportunity to meet and know each other and thereby strengthen their bond as a Muslim ummah.
We achieve our goal by providing our students with a strong background in the Quran and the Sunnah/Seerah that they can draw on as adults.

Our mission is to seek the pleasure of Allah (swt) and to provide our students with Islamic knowledge, and to foster future generations in a caring environment based on core Islamic values, and instilling the love of Allah, the Quran, and the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, so that they develop into strong individuals who are proud of, confident in their religion, and to provide a healthy environment to build a strong Islamic foundation in the lives of our students through the study of the Quranic studies, Arabic language, and a comprehensive Islamic studies that combines traditional Islamic teachings with modern academic standards.
Anas (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say, “O Allah! Grant me benefit in what you have taught me and teach me useful knowledge and provide me with knowledge that will benefit me

Message from the Principle
Guiding Students Towards Excellence
Assalamu Alaikum brothers and sisters :
I am very honored to be the principal of the ICR Sunday School. Training the minds of our Muslim children and youth by helping them develop their Muslim-American identity is one of the noblest of all professions and I am proud to have the opportunity to be in this role.
Our goal at the School is to provide a good environment for your children to be exposed to and learn Islam by our chosen curriculum, guidelines and regulations which are designed to meet that goal. Our goals and intensions are to use the best choices for parents and teachers for teaching Islamic education to our children.
We look forward to practice as a team for this educational journey together; teachers, staff, administration, school board, parents, students and community members. You, the parent, are vital to the success of your child’s education. We strongly believe that parent involvement and cooperation plays a major role in helping to achieve their educational success .It is a joint responsibility of home and School together ,I request that please tell the importance of Sunday School to your child and help him/her to be here regularly and punctually, as each day counts for the learning process.
I promise (by the will of Allah) that all of us at the ICR Sunday School, will continue to do our best we possibly can on behalf of your son or daughter. We would also like to ask you to join and participate in our meetings and activities, as well as volunteer at the School.
